Don't forget this Saturdays Banquet and I can't wait to see those cake baking skills. Please remember to bring something for the Service Project.

Pinewood Derby and Service Project
Pinewood Derby
The derby is rescheduled for this Saturday - times and schedule are to follow later this week. Please bring items to donate or the bake sale. It would be best if the items were packaged for individual sale. I am slicing up a pound cake and am putting it in sandwich bags for example.
Service Project Details - Safe Harbor
Pack 789 is participating in a community service project over the wintertime. We are going to provide items for a Project located in our county called Safe Harbor. This service provides, shelter and food for families in need of refuge. This shelter provides safe haven for women and children. Families are brought in and will live there for periods of time until they can figure something else out. They have provided us with a list, their wish list for items they are in need of. There could be several families living in this space at the same time. We have provided stockings at Christmas time in the past for this same shelter. We ask that you just look over the list and provide just one item to make somebody else's life a little easier while experiencing hard times.
There will be donation boxes set up at Pinewood Derby and the Blue and Gold Banquet.
